Notes From eLearning Presentation

At our September meeting, Jay Lambert from Integrated Learning Services led a discussion about best practices for instructional design. As promised, he has shared his notes with us, including links to the projects we reviewed.


Presentation: “eLearning does not replace sound instructional design”

When evaluating elearning, you should ask:

  • Does it capture your attention?
  • Is it easy to use?
  • Does it make the content memorable, meaningful, motivational?
  • Does it engage you / provide interactivity?
  • Do graphics/animation/media contribute to learning?
